Learning Activities

At this stage in learning, early mathematicians gain practice and confidence with numeracy concepts through interactive, hands-on experiences.  So many simple board games teach concepts of math.  Pull out Snakes and Ladders, Connect 4, play a round of Go Fish, use toys and blocks to count and learn with.  The  possibilities are endless!  As a teacher, always talk explicitly about the numerals and their value and about the math in their day to day experiences.  Below are a few resources that we like to use!
